Due to their highly prestigious nature, only a small number of scholarship awards are made each year and competition is expected to be high.

To apply for a scholarship award, please complete and return the Registration Form along with a covering letter from the student, outlining why they would like to apply for the award.

Please send applications direct to - Director of Marketing and Admissions, ceara.fisher@stbeesschool.co.uk

Bursaries

Bursaries are financial support given to students who would not otherwise be able to attend the school.  The level of support varies according to parental need, but can extend to up to 50% fee remission in cases of proven need.

Other Fee Remission

St Bees School families are automatically entitled to a sibling discount when more than one child is enrolled at the school at the same time. This discount is applied to the second, third, fourth child and so on. For example, where three siblings attend St Bees, the eldest would not receive a discount, the second child would receive 10%, and the youngest also would receive 10%. When the eldest leaves, the sibling discount for the remaining children will be adjusted accordingly (e.g. the 10% discount for the second child would no longer apply).

5% fee remission for the children and grandchildren of Old St Beghians.

Members of the armed forces are encouraged to enquire about the financial support we can offer in support of their children’s education at St Bees School.

Financial arrangements between parents and school are strictly confidential.  Where an award is made, it is expressly agreed that the value will not be disclosed by parents to any third party.  Failure to abide by this strict expectation forfeits eligibility for remission or financial support with immediate effect.
