Summer Programme 2026

Summer Programme 2026

An unforgettable British summer experience in the heart of the Lake District.

Join us at St Bees School this summer for a truly memorable experience combining English language learning, exciting activities, and cultural adventure — all in one of the UK’s most beautiful and historic settings.

Our Summer Programme welcomes international students aged 11-16 for one, two, or three weeks, arriving on:

  • Sunday 5 July

  • Sunday 12 July

  • Sunday 19 July

Each morning, students enjoy interactive English lessons taught by our specialist EAL teachers, designed to build confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning. Afternoons are packed with a variety of fun activities, including archery, swimming, football, arts & crafts, music, science, drama, and forest school.

Evenings bring even more excitement, with discos, quiz nights, cinema evenings, and team-building games — helping students make friends from around the world and create lasting memories.

No summer at St Bees would be complete without exploring the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Lake District National Park. Students enjoy two unforgettable excursions, which in the past have included:

  • Muncaster Castle – a historic family home with breathtaking gardens, a fascinating weapons hall, and an incredible birds of prey display.

  • Windermere – home of Beatrix Potter, with a relaxing boat trip on England’s largest lake surrounded by spectacular scenery.

With prices starting from £1,200 per student, the St Bees Summer Programme offers the perfect balance of learning, adventure, and fun in a safe and supportive environment.
