St Bees School Swimming Pool will be temporarily closed whilst we restructure the team, and to conduct essential maintenance work. The closure will be in place from Monday 4th December until mid-February.
We understand that the sudden closure of the swimming pool will come as a shock to many, and may also cause some inconvenience. To ensure our swimmers have as much information as possible, we have compiled some FAQs which can be found below...
Why has the pool closed?
This necessary step is taken to enhance your swimming experience and ensure the pool is in top-notch condition for everyone to enjoy. We understand this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologise for any disruption. Our team is working diligently to bring you an upgraded and improved swimming facility, along with exciting new services and offerings.
Will I be refunded for my child's missed lessons?
As of 04/12/2023, all refunds are being processed and should be in accounts as soon as possible. It could take up to 10 working days for a refund to arrive in your bank account.
I have a query about my refund and would like to speak to someone - who do I contact?

When will the pool re-open?
At the moment, we are hoping the pool will be back up and running with a new team in place by mid-February 2024. However, this is not definite. Please keep an eye on this page and our Facebook page for the latest updates, as and when we have them.
When the pool re-opens, how can I book lessons?
Once we have an opening date for the pool, we will let everyone know how and when they can book lessons.
