History Quiz

The pupils have been studying the history and origins of Islam and were tasked to design a quiz to test each other’s knowledge.

Split into groups of three they worked together as a team to form their questions. After the rules of engagement were explained they began to question each other under the watchful eye of quiz-master Mr Sinnett.

It was during the bonus ‘quick-fire’ round that their teamwork was tested. Individuals could answer the questions on behalf of the team, but if the answer was incorrect a point was deducted.

An exciting and enthusiastic lesson, well done all!

Let’s Go Fly A Kite…

Our pupils have been working hard to build their own kites in engineering club, this has linked in nicely with their recent Physics lessons in which they covered forces and the effects of uneven forces.

Test day for the kites soon arrived and with the perfect breeze they managed to get their handmade kites up in the air and flying! All kites flew successfully and Mrs Hall was on stand-by for repairs in case of any crash landings! More photos are available on our Facebook page.

Easter Baking

As it is our final week before the Easter holidays and the end of term, the pupils celebrated by making chocolate Easter nests in the home economics classrooms with Miss Cole.

Enjoy the break!
