Nathan Shepherd Injury Rehabilitation
Nathan Shepherd is a sport rehabilitator working within our School. Nathan offers full injury assessments and diagnosis, manual therapy, home exercise and group exercise.
Follow Ups: £30
Massage: £25 per hour / £15 for half an hour
Nathan also holds a lower back pain class every Monday 5pm – 6pm in the St Bees School Gym.

Jen Wilson holds a weekly Buggyfit class at the school every Tuesday from 10am – 11am.
Buggyfit is a safe way to start exercising after childbirth. It is also open to Mums with babies and toddlers in buggies as well as new Mothers. The class is suitable from 6 weeks postnatal or 10 weeks post c-section.
You will benefit from expert instruction allowing your postnatal body to strengthen and heal whilst improving posture and core strength. This is also a great opportunity to meet other mums and bring your baby long for the fun!
The next block of classes start week commencing 3rd September 2018.
7-week block booking – £43.75 (this includes initial and follow up assessments, weekly one hour classes and ongoing advice and support)

Personal Trainer, nutritionalist and weightlifting instructor, Keri Taylor (KT Fitness & Nutrition) is holding a weekly Tabata Fitness class in the School Sports Centre every Thursday until 20th December 2018.
Tabata Fitness is an interval training workout, featuring exercises that last four minutes. The programme is structured in eight sets of 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest before a little break. Exercises will be tailored to the needs, abilities and ages of the class.
Classes will be £5 for adults and £3 for children (5+), if you bring a friend you will get another class free.

We have two different yoga classes at the School. You can read a little bit more about each below:
Zen Yoga with Bettina
Zen Yoga is a gentle yoga class held by Bettinga. This style of yoga is influenced by traditional Chinese medicine which is practiced to improve health and well-being.
The first taster session for this class will be held on Wednesday 5th September from 7pm until 8pm in the gym at the School.
A family Zen Yoga class will start on Wednesday 12th September from 7pm until 8pm in the gym at the School.
The cost is £5 per person.
Caring for your Mind and Body with Margaret Beck
During the Autumn further yoga classes will be held in the School gym. These classes aim to increase strength, flexibility and balance in mind and body. Postures, breathing, meditation and deep relaxation will be explored.*
Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6pm until 7.30pm in the gym. Classes are in 5 week blocks with payment in advance at £40 for the 5 week block.
Class dates are as follows:
Block 1: September 4th, 11th, 25th, October 2nd, 9th
Block 2: October 23rd, 30th, November 6th, 13th, 20th
Alternatively for those wanting to try a few classes you are welcome to come and pay £10 per session.
* You will require your own Yoga Mat.
